Who is Joel Kinnaman anyway? He did appeared in the recent box-office hit, SAFE HOUSE but he is most recognizable playing Stephen Holder in TV's The Killing. 

But his acting status is going to take a quantum leap to Hollywood superstardom after MGM has closed the deal with Kinnaman to play the title role in Jose Padilha's upcoming ROBOCOP remake.

 It seems that now Kinnanman has bigger shoes to fill in such an iconic role once popularized by none others than Peter Weller in the first two ROBOCOP movies.
