Kajal Agarwal Says about Anushka's performance as “I have watched Singham and I was awestruck by the performance of Anushka, she simply done a wonderful job in the film. My role in the Hindi version is completely different as the script has undergone a lot of changes. I am very happy to be a part of Singham and it’s a great role. I am giving my hundred percent efforts to make a difference”.
The hindi version Singham is in the heals of completion. The filmmakers earlier approached Anushka for the same role in bollywood but the actress denied the offer as she was busy with tollywood and kollywood films.

In our earlier news we have informed as Kajal Agarwal at Singham movie promotion she spoke to a section of media confessed that she never considered herself as a south actress and this has irked the South filmdom. This led to South film industry to ban her in telugu and tamil films.
Finally Kajal Agarwal reacted to the statement and immediately replied as "the journo who misunderstood my statement and therefore the miscommunication happened. I will continue my magic in South screens and always loved to be a part of South Indian movies."
Lets hope South Indian film industry to calm down with her statement....

Director Rohit Shetty has started working on the Hindi remake of the south film Singam with Ajay Devgan, and he has roped in the hit south actress Kajal Aggarwal to pair opposite him. However, this won’t be her B-Town debut. Aggarwal was earlier seen in a miniscule role in 2004′s Kyun… Ho Gaya Na where she plays Aishwarya’s friend. The Singam remake will be her first Hindi film as a leading actress.
Initially, Rohit was keen on Anushka Shetty, who starred in the original opposite Surya. But since she was busy with other projects, Kajal was approached and she lapped the opportunity.
Kajal has appeared in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada films. She made her acting debut in B-Town but her first huge commercial success at the box office were Chandamama (in Telugu) and Saroja (Tamil). She rose to prominence after her performance as Yuvarani Mitravinda Devi and Indira (Indu) in Telugu film Magadheera, her biggest hit yet.
