With the news broke out that there would be BLADE RUNNER follow-up sometimes in the near future and original director Ridley Scott agreed to direct, what die-hard fans can expect from the new movie?
Back in August 2011, producer Andrew Kosove has made it clear via interview with the Los Angeles Times, quoting:
In no way do I speak for Ridley Scott but if you're asking me will this movie have anything to do with Harrison Ford, the answer is no. This is a total reinvention and in my mind that means doing everything fresh, including casting.
But there comes an amazing news that Harrison Ford is in early talks to join the BLADE RUNNER runner-up. Ford, of course, lead the iconic role as Deckard in the original BLADE RUNNER (1982). For now, everything is still in a very early stage and nothing has been officially confirmed yet whether Ford will return as the lead or just cameo appearance.
