It's been a loooong while since we last seen a Stephen Chow movie. His last movie was the sci-fi comedy CJ7 (2008). For those who followed the work of Stephen Chow, fans have been eagerly awaiting his next movie for quite some time. That movie is none others than his retake of the famous Chinese novel A Journey to the West. Chow, of course, had previously starred in the 1994 classics A CHINESE ODYSSEY PART ONE: PANDORA'S BOX and A CHINESE ODYSSEY PART TWO: CINDERELLA.
The new Journey to the West epic, simply titled as ODYSSEY, has finally completed and currently in post-production. That's not all, fans will be rejoiced that ODYSSEY is set for 2012 release!
ODYSSEY will feature plenty of special effects, while Chow will be the movie's producer, co-director alongside GALLANTS helmer Derek Kwok, screenwriter and actor as well.
