A much-anticipated biopic of Elton John, one of the most popular British singer of all-time, is currently under progress. However, word is out that John has already a perfect candidate in his mind to play him for the upcoming movie. Here's what he had to say below.
I've got a wish list of people. No. 1 on my wish list is Justin Timberlake, because he played me before in a David LaChapelle video of 'Rocket Man' and was superb.
John also stated that the biopic will feature songs from his career and possibly a couple of new ones as well. The biopic is penned by BILLY ELLIOT screenwriter Lee Hall, in which John described the movie as a "surreal" look at his life rather than a typical fact-based approach normally seen in many biopic. Instead it's more of a MOULIN ROUGE-type. Furthermore, they have already found a director for the biopic in which he wishes Baz Luhrman.
We tried to get Baz, but Baz is so busy. We can't announce it yet, but we have got someone on board that we're very excited about.
Hmm... I wonder who might be the director for the biopic...
