Vijay’s ‘Velayudham’ which has directed by Jayam Raja and Producer by Aascar Ravichandran of Aascar Films. Genelia and Hansika is doing female lead role in the film, Meanwhile a new actor from Mumbai is playing the villain role in the film.

There are rumors that the film is the remake of the Telugu film ‘Azad’ but the director says it is his original script which is an out and out mass film with some peppy number. The film music has scored by Vijay Antony who has already worked with Vijay’s ‘Vettaikaran’.

The film will a summer treat for the audience.
